Time was running out for Garion and his companions in their quest to recover Garion's infant son and heir.  If they could not locate the Place Which Is No More, then Zandramas, the Child of Dark, would use Garion's son in a rite that would raise the Dark Prophecy to eternal dominion over the universe!

Only the Seeress of Kell could reveal the site of that mysterious place - and that she could do only once Garion and Polgara had fulfilled an ancient prophecy in the mountain fastness of the Seers....

Kell itself was closed to Zandramas - but her dark magics could force the knowledge she needed from one of Garion's party.  She laid her traps and dispatched her foul minions, determined to claim the world for the Dark God.  But Garion would let nothing stand between him and his son....

Finally book 10 and the end of the road, I'm not ashamed to admit I cried. I felt almost lost when I closed the book for the last time, I had become emotionally attached to all of them, especially Belgarath & Polgara. I think the very best thing I can say about the entire series is that I continue to read it at least once a year and it's like settling down for a nice long chat with old friends. For those of you who have managed to miss David & Leigh Eddings don't you'll regret it!

Both series have been a fantastic adventure. I have been reading these books for thirteen years now and I have yet to grow tired of them. I especially like Silk as he always makes me laugh but I do have to admit to being a little in love with Garion. Its a shame that there are not going to be anymore in this series.

The best of the bunch. Eddings just puts out the stuff of legends with all of them. It is exactly like seeing an old friend leave and picking them up again is just saying hello.

I was kinda of upset that the series ended. David Eddings brings you into their world so well. I love this series the most.
