| I felt that this was the crown jewel of the entire Garion series. Although Belgarath the Sorcerer was an excellent novel on it's own, Polgara finishes the story with the wit that is her trademark and makes her such a memorable character and role model. | |||

| I love polgara and i love the book but what i would like to have confirmed for me is did polgara have twin boys as the orb glowed blue both times and whenever there has been anyother birth which has resulted with a girl being envolved the orb glows pink, so am I right in assuming that she had 2 boys,I know that D&L proberly want to let people wonder but both me and my mum want to know so that we can congratulate Pol and Durnick, I will never forget Ontrose, I know this will proberly never happen but is there any chance that we will get a book on beldin and the twins? | |||

| What a joy to read. Every character is so well written that I consider them my friends and companions. Each page was an exciting and amazing step along the path of Polgara's life. This novel is the chance that every fan of the Garion/Belgarion sagas to say thank you to Polgara for her lifetime of love and honour.
